The state government has sanctioned ₹40 crore for the ongoing Kallapu-Sajipa riverfront road project, which will improve connectivity for Mangaluru and surrounding areas. This funding brings the total sanctioned amount to ₹55 crore, which is 25% of the total project cost of ₹160 crore. The project’s development will be carried out in phases along the Netravathi riverfront.
