Meanwhile, this achievement was seen on the same day when Asmita Dey created history by becoming India’s first-ever judo gold medalist in women’s 48kg category.
Harsh Singh had a stunning journey to bag the gold medal in the men’s 60kg category of the judo sport in 2026 Auckland.
With this achievement, Singh has become the first Indian in the category to win a title in the Commonwealth Games.
