Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow

Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport is located in the capital city Lucknow. Earlier known as Amausi Airport, it is named after Chaudhary Charan Singh. This airport is a major gateway for both domestic and international travelers and is managed by a public-private partnership.

Kushinagar International Airport, Kushinagar

Kushinagar International Airport mainly serves Buddhist pilgrims visiting Kushinagar. It became an international airport in 2021 and plays an important role in promoting religious tourism, especially for visitors from countries like Sri Lanka, Japan and Thailand.

Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya

Maharishi Valmiki International Airport serves the holy city of Ayodhya. The airport was inaugurated by Narendra Modi on 30 December 2023. Although it currently handles mainly domestic flights, it has international status and saw over 1.1 million passengers in 2024-25, making it one of the fastest-growing airports.

Noida International Airport (Jewar)

Noida International Airport is a newly developed airport near Noida. It is being built in phases and is expected to handle 12 million passengers, making it one of the largest airports in India and an alternative to Delhi’s busy airport.
