ICAI Reveals New Logo For Chartered Accountants Of India

 

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, recognized as the world’s largest professional body of Chartered Accountants, recently revealed a new logo that encapsulates its commitment to an India-first approach and its role as a trusted partner in nation-building. This unveiling took place at the Global Professional Accountants Convention (GloPAC) in Gandhinagar, where the Vice-President, Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal, were present.

The Design: A Fusion of Symbolism and Tradition

  • The new logo features the letters ‘CA’ in a vibrant blue, symbolizing creativity, innovativeness, knowledge, integrity, trust, truth, stability, and depth.
  • Complementing this, an upside-down tricolour tick mark, traditionally used by Chartered Accountants during audits, has been incorporated. This element is intended to symbolize the wisdom and value contributed by accounting professionals.
  • Additionally, the word ‘India’ has been integrated into the logo, underscoring the institute’s dedication to an India-first approach and its commitment to serving the Indian economy in the public interest.

  • Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, Vice-President of ICAI, highlighted the significant role Chartered Accountants play in contributing to the growth of the Indian economy. He emphasized their role as global ambassadors, attracting investment opportunities to India.
