ICMR partners India Post for delivery of COVID-19 testing kits

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has entered into a tie-up with the India Post for delivery of its coronavirus COVID-19 testing kits. These kits are taken from ICMR 16 regional depots to 200 additional labs designated for coronavirus testing across the country.

ICMR has planned to conduct 1 lakh COVID-19 tests per day all over the country. In order to achieve this, India Post with its 1,50,000 post offices has entered into an agreement with the ICMR. The kits are delivered with a packing of dry ice.
