India-Africa Trade Crosses USD 100 Billion in 2024–25

  • Bilateral trade reached USD 100 billion in 2024–25, compared to USD 56 billion in 2019–20.
  • Cumulative Indian investments in Africa stood at over USD 75 billion between 1996 and 2024, placing India among the top five investors on the continent.

Concessional Loans and Grant Support

To strengthen its development partnership, India has,

  • Extended concessional loans worth over USD 12 billion.

  • Provided 50,000 scholarships to African youth, of which over 42,000 have already been utilised.
