India-AI Impact Summit Logo Unveiled Blends Ethics, Heritage, and Innovation

India has officially unveiled the logo for the upcoming India-AI Impact Summit 2026, which will be held on February 19–20, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. More than a design, the logo encapsulates India’s unique approach to artificial intelligence—one that aligns technological innovation with ethical governance, national identity, and inclusive development.

Contest and Selection Process

  • The logo was selected through a public design contest conducted on the MyGov platform from May 28 to June 12, 2025. From 599 entries, the winning design was submitted by Ajith P. Suresh, and chosen by the Emerging Technologies team under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
  • Suresh created the initial version in 23 hours, later refining it to express AI’s ethical essence and transformative vision.
  • His design now serves as the face of India’s aspirations to lead the global AI movement with responsibility and purpose.

Symbolism in the Logo Design

Ashoka Chakra at the Core

  • The central element of the logo is the Ashoka Chakra, representing ethical governance, justice, and the constitutional values that guide India’s digital journey.
  • As a national emblem, it roots AI innovation within the framework of public welfare and democratic principles.

Radiating Neural Flares

  • Around the Chakra, neural network flares extend outward, depicting the expansive and transformative power of AI.
  • These flares symbolize the way AI can connect diverse sectors—education, healthcare, agriculture, and industry—while crossing linguistic and regional divides.

Gradient and Typography

  • A vibrant color gradient sweeps across the logo, reflecting the diversity of communities, industries, and cultures involved in the AI revolution.
  • This inclusiveness mirrors India’s commitment to making AI accessible and beneficial for all.
  • The modern typography used in the logo ensures clarity and relevance across platforms, enhancing visibility and public engagement.

Summit Vision and Broader Relevance

The India-AI Impact Summit 2026 will revolve around the three guiding principles—People, Planet, and Progress—referred to as the “Sutras.” The event will also highlight seven core themes or “Chakras,” including human capital, safe and trusted AI, social good, and democratized access to AI tools.

Several initiatives have already been launched in alignment with these themes, such as,

  • UDAAN Global AI Pitch Fest
  • YuvaAI Innovation Challenge
  • AI Expo and Research Symposium
  • Indigenous AI foundational models

These efforts aim to position India not just as an AI adopter, but as a global architect of inclusive, ethical, and sustainable AI systems.
