India and Mauritius have once again reinforced their close ties of friendship and cooperation. During the State Visit of the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, to India on the invitation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, both leaders held wide-ranging discussions on bilateral cooperation. Following these talks, India announced a Special Economic Package for Mauritius, covering critical infrastructure, healthcare, education, and strategic cooperation projects.
