India Strengthens Biomedical Research with First Ferret Research Facility

This partnership will help commercialize a newly discovered synthetic microbial consortium known as Lactobacillus crispatus. Isolated from the reproductive tracts of women in the GARBH-INi cohort, this microbial strain holds great promise for improving women’s health.
This microbial consortium will be used in nutraceutical applications, which can promote health by influencing the human microbiome. This agreement highlights the growing importance of microbiome-based interventions in modern healthcare, and this collaboration is a prime example of how research is being translated into real-world healthcare solutions.
