India Submits Updated Climate Targets for 2031–2035 to UNFCCC
India has submitted the its updated targets for the 2031-2035 to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This new plan focuses on to the reducing emissions, expanding clean energy and increasing the forest cover. This targets were announced after the Cabinet approval in the month of March 2026 and these targets will reflect the India’s growing role to tackling climate change while.
