India Unveils AI Governance Framework with ‘Light‑Touch’ Oversight
The Government of India formally released its India AI Governance Guidelines on 5 November 2025, establishing a principle‑based, “light‑touch” regulatory framework to steer the development, deployment and governance of artificial intelligence across the country.
