ISB Inks MoU With Goa To Start Knowledge Partnership

The Bharti Institute of Public Policy, a renowned think tank under the Indian School of Business (ISB), and the Government of Goa have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a knowledge partnership. This strategic alliance is geared towards advancing evidence-based policy formulation and fostering impactful governance in the state of Goa.

Strengthening Governance Through Knowledge Sharing

Under the terms of the MoU, the Bharti Institute of Public Policy will join forces with the Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development to conduct specialized workshops. These workshops are aimed at enhancing the capabilities of state officials, empowering them with the tools to create and implement evidence-backed policies effectively.

Additionally, the partnership will yield the creation of the Goa Open Data Portal, a pioneering digital platform developed in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology, Goa. This portal will serve as a comprehensive hub for open data, simplifying access and interaction for citizens. By advancing digital governance initiatives, the portal aims to streamline data-driven decision-making processes.

Fostering Socio-Economic Prosperity

The Bharti Institute of Public Policy’s collaboration with the Government of Goa is rooted in a shared vision to elevate the state’s social and economic well-being. Through evidence-based public policy interventions, capacity-building workshops, and citizen-centric governance initiatives, the partnership is poised to make substantial strides in improving key prosperity indicators.
