Karnataka government has launched “Apthamitra” app and exclusive toll-free helpline number 14410. This facility is provided to empower the people of the state in the fight against COVID-19.

The application aims at providing medical guidance and advice on COVID-19.The Apthamitra helpline dedicated to deal with only COVID-19-related queries including telemedicine, counselling and facilitating testing and treatment for those in need. The two platforms will help to reach out to people, especially those staying in Corona hotspot areas, to identify those having influenza-like illness (ILI), Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI), COVID-19-like symptoms or having a high risk of getting infected.
