The tenth Ammunition Cum Torpedo Cum Missile (ACTCM) Barge, LSAM 24 (Yard 134), was launched on March 26, 2025, at M/s Suryadipta Projects Pvt Ltd, Thane. The launching ceremony was graced by Cmde Rahul Jagat, SPS, Submarine Overseeing Team (SOT), Mumbai. The contract for building eleven such Barges was awarded to M/s Suryadipta Projects Pvt Ltd on March 5, 2021. These indigenously designed and built vessels play a crucial role in strengthening the Indian Navy’s logistics and operational capabilities.

  • The ACTCM Barge, LSAM 24 (Yard 134), is the tenth vessel under a contract for eleven such Barges.
  • It was constructed by M/s Suryadipta Projects Pvt Ltd, Thane, a Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise (MSME) shipyard.
  • The contract was finalized on March 5, 2021.

Indigenous Design & Collaboration

  • Designed in collaboration with an Indian Ship Design firm.
