List of International Cricket Council Chairman (2014-2024)

The chairman of ICC, also known as the International Cricket Council, is the top position in the governing body of world cricket. This position headed the ICC board of directors. Previously, the ICC president lead the ICC council but that position become a largely honourary post since the changes pushed through to the ICC constitution in 2014. Former BCCI president N. Srinivasan from India became the first chairman of ICC on 26 June 2014.

Prior to the International Cricket Council chairman post being made the head position, this status was held by the ICC president. Jagmohan Dalmiya (1997–2000) and Sharad Pawar (2010–2012) were the only two Indians to hold the president’s post before it was abolished in 2016.

The sitting secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), Jay Shah, made history, by becoming the youngest person to win the election for the International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman post. He was elected unopposed and replaced the incumbent chairman, Greg Barclay, on December 1, 2024. Now Shah becomes the third Indian and fourth person overall to hold the post of ICC chairman. He is also the fifth Indian to hold the highest authoritative position in cricket.
