Maharashtra Govt Signs MoU With Germany’s Professional Association Football League
In a significant step towards elevating the status of football in Maharashtra, the state government has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the renowned German professional football league, Bundesliga.
The signing ceremony occurred in the presence of notable figures. The Maharashtra government was represented by Ranjitsinh Deol, Principal Secretary of the Department of School Education and Sports, along with Suhas Diwas, Commissioner of Sports and Youth Services. On the other side, the Bundesliga’s delegation included Mrs. Julia Farr, Peter Leible, and Kaushik Maulik.
Football enjoys significant popularity across numerous districts in Maharashtra, emphasizing the necessity for collaborative efforts to establish a favorable sporting atmosphere within the state.
