Government of Manipur starts a new initiative titled ‘Food Bank’ in view of the threat of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This initiative provides immediate aid within the sort of free food to the poor and needy who face scarcity of essential commodities due to the long statewide lockdown.

Benefits of Food Bank:

Distribution of food items.
Distribution of hand sanitizer and face masks have already started to Drug Rehabilitation Centres and people living with HIV located in Imphal East District.
