Maruti Suzuki Partners With Indian Navy For Northeast Outreach Programme
Maruti Suzuki India, the leading automobile manufacturer in the country, has embarked on a unique journey of collaboration and empowerment by teaming up with the Indian Navy. Their joint mission is to create awareness about career opportunities among the youth of Northeastern India through the ‘Khamree Mo Sikkim‘ outreach programme. This partnership not only reflects the commitment of all stakeholders to the Northeast region but also demonstrates the potential for positive change through collective efforts.
The ‘Khamree Mo Sikkim’ expedition is divided into three distinct stretches, each with its unique focus and purpose:
The first stretch of the expedition will take the participants from INS Shivaji to Bagdogra, covering diverse landscapes and engaging with local communities along the way.
Stretch 2 will comprehensively cover the state of Sikkim, providing an opportunity to empower and inspire the youth in this region.
The final stretch of the expedition will extend from Gangtok, Sikkim, back to INS Shivaji, with a particular focus on empowering the youth in rural areas along the eastern coastal region.
The ‘Khamree Mo Sikkim’ outreach programme represents a commendable partnership between Maruti Suzuki India and the Indian Navy, with the shared goal of enlightening, inspiring, and empowering the youth of Northeastern India. Through this collaborative effort, they aim to not only create awareness about career opportunities but also strengthen the bonds within the local communities and contribute to the progress of the region.
