At the district level, an IAS officer, serving as the District Magistrate/District Collector, manages administration with support from Rajasthan Administrative Services officers. The police force is led by an IPS officer, the Director General of Police, with district-level supervision by a Superintendent of Police, also an IPS officer.

Rajasthan’s literacy rate is 66.11 percent, according to the latest census. Male literacy stands at 79.19 percent, significantly higher than the female literacy rate of 52.12 percent.
