Most runs in T20 World Cup 2026, List of Top Batters & Highest Run Scorers
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has brought together the world’s top white-ball batters, and the race to finish as the tournament’s highest run-scorer is becoming increasingly exciting. The 10th edition of the T20 World Cup is jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka, with matches being played across multiple venues in the subcontinent.
The tournament has already witnessed several outstanding batting performances. One of the biggest highlights came from Yuvraj Samra of Canada, who scored a remarkable 110 runs against New Zealand in the group stage**, the highest individual score of the tournament so far. At just 19 years old, Samra also became the youngest player to score a century in T20 World Cup history.
Another historic moment came when Pathum Nissanka of Sri Lanka scored an unbeaten 100 against Australia, which was the first century of the 2026 T20 World Cup.
However, the biggest story of the tournament so far belongs to Sahibzada Farhan from Pakistan. He has emerged as the leading run-scorer of the tournament, scoring 383 runs in seven matches. With this performance, Farhan surpassed the previous record of 319 runs set by Virat Kohli in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2014.
Farhan also created history by becoming the first player to score two centuries in a single edition of the T20 World Cup, achieving the feat with hundreds against Namibia and Sri Lanka. He also joined an elite list as only the second player after Chris Gayle to score multiple centuries in T20 World Cup history.
