National Conference on Land & Disaster Management Kicks Off in Gandhinagar
A two‑day National Conference on Land Administration and Disaster Management began on 3 October 2025 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. The event is part of a nationwide push to modernize land governance, strengthen disaster resilience, and ensure citizens’ land rights through digitization and innovation.
At the inaugural session, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel stressed the need for digitising land records and using indigenous technology to shift toward a citizen‑centric approach, ensuring secure land rights at grassroots levels. The conference also serves as a forum for states to share best practices and innovations in land and disaster management.
