  • Applications, grants, and commercialization for patents served as the evaluation criteria. The award was given out by Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal.
  • Upon receiving the trophy, citation, and cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh, institute director V. Kamakoti commended the professors, researchers, students, and other stakeholders for their accomplishment.
