NIESBUD, IIE and ISB Signs MoU to offer Entrepreneurial Programmes to India’s Youth

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) and the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) individually with the Indian School of Business (ISB), which is a top-ranking global business school, to offer world-class management education through entrepreneurial programs targeted towards youth and job seeking entrepreneurs.

Key Points related to Entrepreneurial Programmes offered by NIESBUD, IIE and ISB

  • The partnership will enable, the development and implementation of two programs, one is Business Foundation & Entrepreneurial Skills and the other is Behavioral Skills Programme by ISB faculty and other Industry experts.
  • NIESBUD and IIE will start enrollment of students on the ISB LMS, for the two training programs.
  • The participants will receive a joint certification on the successful completion of the course.

About the Business Foundation & Entrepreneurial Skills Programme

The Business Foundation & Entrepreneurial Skills Programme will cover the introduction to microeconomics and macroeconomics and foundational aspects of business, through marketing management, operations management, competitive strategy, negotiations analysis, and the basis of finance. Through this program, entrepreneurial skills are provided with the help of Entrepreneurial orientation, understanding of the start-up development pipeline, and identifying market needs, problems, and opportunities.

About Behavioral Skills Programme

The Behavioral Skills Programme is aimed at empowering youth with a range of skills and strategies to enhance the personal and workspace effectiveness of students. The course includes self-awareness, inculcating a growth mindset, effective verbal & non-verbal communication, presentation & Public speaking, the art of networking, building a personal brand, the art of storytelling, intro to technology, ace job interview, and negotiation analysis.
