NSA Ajit Doval to Receive Prestigious Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026

Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor of India, set to receive the Lokmanya Tilak National Award in 2026 in recognition of his efforts in to strengthening the India’s national security force. This announcement was took place on 21st July 2026 by Tilak Smarak Trust for Ajit Doval’s long service in the fields of intelligence and strategic management of national security. The award ceremony will be held on 1 August 2026 in Pune, India, in which he will receive this award from the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Ajit Doval is Chosen for Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026

Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor, has been named the recipient of a prestigious award by the Tilak Smarak Trust for having played a key role in strengthening the security of the country.

The awards will be presented on the 1st of August, 2026 in the Maharashtra Mandal Ground in Pune.

About Ajit Doval

Ajit Kumar Doval is a retired officer of the Indian Police Service – IAS-1968 batch of the Kerala cadre.

Before being appointed as National Security advisor, he spent many years working in the Intelligence Bureau for various important tasks.

Over his illustrious career, he has handled a number of major assignments.

The following states have been benefitted with his experience and expertise in one way or another,

  • Mizoram
  • Punjab
  • Sikkim
  • Jammu & Kashmir

Additionally, he has served in Indian missions in foreign countries like,
