Prior to the triumph of Parveen, Lovelina Borgohain beat Chinese boxer Ziyi Bao 5-0 in the women’s 75kg category final bout. The victory took place on Lovelina’s 29th birthday, thus turning her Asian Games silver medal into the gold one.
