The 9th Ladakh Zanskar Festival 2024 began with remarkable grandeur in the picturesque village of Sani, signifying a landmark event for the region. This year’s Zanskar Festival is especially significant as it marks the first celebration since Zanskar was officially declared a district.

  • Not confined to the region alone, the festival also featured troupes from Purgi tribes from Kargil, Sheena from Drass, Dard-Aryan from Aryan Valley, Changpa Tribe from Changthang and even Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul, Spiti & Kinnaur Cultural Troupes also participated in this Two Days Mega Festival.
