PM Modi and President Macron Inaugurate Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, France
Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and His Highness French President Emmanuel Macron jointly inaugurated the Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, France. This three day event serves as the premier platform for showcasing the India’s deep-tech capabilities and it will bring together the startups, innovators, researchers, investors and the global technology leaders. The event highlights the India’s growing ambition to emerge as the leading global innovation hub and around hundreds of investors and some of the India’s promising technology ventures set to participate in this event.
Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron has inaugurated the Bharat Innovates 2026 at the Palais des Expositions in Nice on June 14, 2026.
This event is part of the ongoing India-France Year of Innovation celebrations and it showcases the deepening strategic partnership between the two nations.
Bharat Innovates 2026 has brought together the multiple Indian deep-tech startups, research institutions, venture capitalists, technology experts and innovation-focused organizations from all around the world.
This event also aims to showcase the India’s technological achievements and will create the opportunities for international collaboration in emerging sectors.
One of the major highlights of the Bharat Innovates 2026 is the participation of the 120 pioneering startups and more than 20 Institutes of Excellence.
These organizations are presenting the innovations across the different 13 critical technology pillars that are expected to shape the future global economy.
This event provides the platform for the Indian innovators to demonstrate their capabilities to the international investors, policymakers and industry leaders.
Around more than 350 global investors and venture capitalists are attending this event, creating opportunities for the funding, partnerships and technology commercialization.
Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the strong partnership between India and France in addressing global challenges.
He highlighted the several successful bilateral initiatives between both nations including the International Solar Alliance and cooperation in areas such as the Artificial Intelligence, innovation, climate action and Indo-Pacific security.
The Prime Minister also noted that Bharat Innovates 2026 represents the another milestone in the shared commitment of India and France to contribute towards the global development with the technological progress and innovation.
