PM Modi Receives Indonesia's Highest Civilian Honour 'Bintang Adipurna' During Jakarta Visit
Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi has been conferred with the ‘Bintang Adipurna’,it is the highest civilian award of Indonesia, by the President of Indonesia Mr. Probowo Subianto during his official tour in Jakarta on 7th of July, 2026. This honour shows Mr. Modi’s contribution towards strengthening relations between India and Indonesia and highlights the deep strategic partnership between the two nations.
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has conferred the title of Bintang Adipurna to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Istana Merdeka, the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
The Bintang Adipurna is the highest civilian honor of Indonesia that is conferred to the people in recognition of their outstanding contributions to strengthening ties with the country and promoting international cooperation.
Bintang Adipurna is a name given to the highest non-military award.

He said that the award is given to all 1.4 billion people of India and also shows the love and goodwill of the people of Indonesia for India.
