Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched and laid the foundation for more than ₹3,880 crore worth of development projects in Varanasi. These initiatives span across infrastructure, energy, education, law enforcement, public welfare, and cultural heritage.   • Renovation of 77 primary schools under Smart City Mission.
  • New building for Kasturba Gandhi School, Cholapur.

  • Samne Ghat and Shastri Ghat (on Ganga River).
  • Improvements in 6 municipal wards.
  • 130 rural drinking water schemes under Jal Jeevan Mission (₹345 crore).
  • Initiatives for urban landscaping and sculpture installations.

MSMEs, Artisans & Solar Projects

  • Foundation for MSME Unity Mall to promote traditional crafts.
  • Infrastructure under Transport Nagar Scheme at Mohansarai.
  • Inaugurated 1 MW solar power plant at Water Treatment Plant, Bhelupur.
  • Beautification of public parks and construction of community halls in 40 gram panchayats.

Welfare & Heritage

  • Distributed Ayushman Vay Vandana health cards to senior citizens.
