PM Narendra Modi Launches Nationwide HPV Vaccination Drive in Ajmer
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a nationwide HPV vaccination drive for 14-year-old girls during his visit to Ajmer in the Rajasthan on 28 February 2026. The campaign aims to prevent cervical cancer, one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths among women. Alongside the health initiative, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹16,680 crore, covering highways, drinking water, energy, irrigation and industrial infrastructure.
