PNB Pioneers Real-Time Cybercrime Response with Clari5 Integration
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has introduced the PNB ANTAH DRISHTI Braille Debit Card, a new initiative aimed at enhancing financial accessibility for visually impaired individuals. This contactless National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) debit card operates on the RuPay network and is designed to improve financial independence for its users.
Braille Embossing: The card features raised Braille dots, including the “PNB” brand name, enabling users to identify it easily. The accompanying welcome letter is also provided in Braille.
Rounded Notch: A rounded notch opposite the chip helps users orient the card correctly while using ATMs or POS terminals.
Glossy Spot UV Lamination: The card includes a glossy spot UV lamination effect with raised textures on the bank’s logo and a rough spot UV on the contactless symbol, facilitating easier identification of the card’s features.
Contrasting Colors: Designed with contrasting colors to aid in reading card details, making it easier for visually impaired users.
ATM Withdrawals: Up to Rs 25,000 per day.
PoS and eCommerce Transactions: Combined daily limit of Rs 60,000.
Contactless Transactions: Individual transactions up to Rs 5,000 can be completed without a PIN at NFC-enabled POS terminals, with a daily limit of Rs 5,000.
Visually impaired individuals with savings or current accounts at PNB can obtain the PNB ANTAH DRISHTI Braille Debit Card from any PNB branch.
