Prajakta Koli Makes TIME100 Creators List

Prajakta Koli, also known as MostlySane, has been named in the 2025 TIME100 Creators List, a global recognition of the most influential digital content creators. She is the only Indian to be included on the list, which was announced by TIME Magazine in July 2025. This honour highlights her global impact as a creator, actor, and storyteller.

A Journey from YouTube to Global Stage

Prajakta Koli began her journey on YouTube in 2015 with funny videos based on daily life in India. Over the years, she built a strong fan base with over 7 million subscribers on YouTube and 8 million followers on Instagram. Her content, full of humor and relatable stories, won hearts across India.

Apart from digital content, Prajakta moved into acting. She starred in the Netflix show Mismatched, appeared in Bollywood movies like Jugjugg Jeeyo and Neeyat, and hosted the YouTube Originals show Pretty Fit. In early 2025, she also released her first book titled “Too Good To Be True.”

More Than Just a Content Creator

Prajakta is known not just for entertainment, but also for her work in promoting social change. She has worked with big global groups like the UN, Gates Foundation, World Economic Forum, and COP Summit. She was part of the Creators for Change series on YouTube alongside Michelle Obama, which even won a Daytime Emmy Award.

She has also been featured in Forbes India’s 30 Under 30 and GQ India’s Most Influential Young Indians 2025. These achievements reflect how creators from South Asia are gaining more international recognition.

Prajakta Thanks Fans and Her Younger Self

After receiving the honour, Prajakta shared an emotional post on Instagram. She wrote, “Only two words come to mind: thank you.” She thanked her audience, family, team, and her 21-year-old self, who started her journey with no plan but a big love for storytelling.

She said, “Thank you to my audience for believing, thank you to my team for being my rock, and thank you to the younger me who jumped into storytelling with just heart and instinct.”
