The National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA) is an annual event that recognizes outstanding contributions to energy conservation. Since its inception on December 14, 1991, these awards, presented by dignitaries of the Government of India, applaud exemplary efforts in energy conservation across various sectors of the economy. NECA has played a pivotal role in inspiring industries nationwide to adopt and champion energy-efficient measures.
In alignment with the government’s energy efficiency initiatives, Crompton has introduced an impressive range of storage water heaters that have set new benchmarks in technology and aesthetics. Notably, the BEE 5-star rated Arno Neo 3015 model stands out with features like a polymer-coated mild steel tank and a Ni Coated Copper Heating Element. This innovation ensures reliability, safety, and up to 46% energy savings compared to 1-Star rated heaters, contributing significantly to reducing consumer energy bills.
Crompton’s commitment to the development of energy-efficient products is evident through its recognition with two National Energy Consumer Awards (NECA) in 2019. The awards, organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, were received for the Most Energy Efficient Ceiling Fan (HS plus model) and the 9 Watt LED bulb. The company’s dedication to energy efficiency is further reflected in its inclusion in the Brand Top 75 most valuable Indian brands list for 2020, released by WPP and Kantar.
Crompton’s achievements extend to being recognized as the Brand of the Decade 2021 by Herald Global and BARC Asia in the Consumer Electrical category. These accolades affirm Crompton’s position as an industry leader committed to innovation, excellence, and sustainability.
