Ram Navami 2026 will be celebrated on March 26 2026 (Thursday) across India with the great devotion and enthusiasm. This is the sacred Hindu festival which marks the birth anniversary of Lord Rama and the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The day is observed on the Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in Chaitra month and it is also known as Ram Janmotsav. Devotees perform pooja rituals, recite Ramayana, and visit temples to celebrate the festival.
According to the Hindu calender Ram Navami falls on the Navami Tithi which overlaps two days but the Madhyahna Muhurat (midday) determines the correct celebration date.
