The Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and Meta Platforms have announced the strategic partnership to establish an AI-enabled hyperscale data centre in the Jamnagar, Gujarat. It is the 168 MW facility and expected to be completed within two years. Also it will be the Meta’s first built to suit data centre in India. This projects indicates the India’s growing importance in the field of the global artificial intelligence ecosystem.
Reliance Industries and Meta have entered into the strategic collaboration to develop a state of the art AI-enabled data centre in Jamnagar district of Gujarat.
The upcoming facility will have the initial capacity of 168 megawatts (MW) and it is designed with the scalability options to support future expansion.
Meta will lease capacity from the data centre to meet the its growing global artificial intelligence and computing requirements.
