Sadhana Saptah 2026 Launched to Boost Governance and Service Delivery
India has launched Sadhana Saptah 2026 which is the nationwide initiative which is focused on to strengthening the citizen-centric governance and capacity building in the civil services. This week will be observed from 2 to 8 April 2026 and this program brings together the ministries, states and several training institutions to enhance the skills, accountability and service delivery. This program will be anchored under Mission Karmayogi and will reflects the shift towards modern and the technology-driven governance.
Sadhana Saptah abbreviation is Strengthening Adaptive Development and Humane Aptitude for National Advancement. It is is one of India’s largest collaborative governance initiatives.
It is organized by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Capacity Building Commission and the Karmayogi Bharat.
The initiative aims to promote responsive and citizen-first governance and also to build skills and competencies among civil servants.
As this program will feature the participation from over the 100 ministries, 36 States/UTs and 250+ training institutes and it marks movement towards governance reforms.
Sadhana Saptah idea lies in the Mission Karmayogi which is the India’s flagship program for the civil services capacity building.
