SAMPANN Pension Portal Integrated with UMANG for Easy Access to Pension Services
Digital governance in India has taken another step forward with the integration of SAMPANN, a pension management system, with the UMANG platform. This initiative ensures that pensioners can access critical pension-related information anytime and anywhere. The move is especially beneficial for senior citizens, as it reduces physical visits to offices and promotes seamless, transparent service delivery.
The SAMPANN pension portal has been integrated with the UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) platform, allowing nearly 4 lakh pensioners of the Department of Telecommunications to access their PPO details and Life Certificate validity online.
