Sanjeev Krishan Re-Elected as PwC India Chairperson for Second Term
Sanjeev Krishan has been re-elected as the chairperson of PwC India for a second term, set to begin on April 1, 2025. This reappointment underscores his significant contributions to the firm’s growth and innovation. Krishan, who began his first term on January 1, 2021, will continue representing PwC externally and internally, and will maintain his role on the PwC Global Strategy Council.
Krishan joined PwC in 1991 as an articled trainee, became a partner in 2006, and led the firm’s Deals, Transactions, and Private Equity business.
He has also worked with PwC Sweden through an international exchange program, focusing on cross-border deals with private equity funds and corporate clients.
Dinesh Arora, Chair of the Partnership Oversight Committee at PwC India, highlighted Krishan’s role in advancing the firm’s prominence and technological innovation, which enhances efficiency.
Krishan described his re-election as “humbling” and expressed a commitment to helping clients capitalize on growth opportunities amidst macroeconomic challenges and geopolitical shifts. He emphasized the Indian economy’s potential in shaping the global economic landscape.
