Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Unveils The TeacherApp
Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, launched The TeacherApp, an innovative digital platform developed by Bharti Airtel Foundation to empower educators with the skills required to meet the evolving demands of 21st-century classrooms.
The platform, unveiled at the India Habitat Centre, Delhi, aims to elevate the education sector by providing teachers with over 260 hours of high-quality digital content, including courses, videos, podcasts, live expert sessions, and more. This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and aims to ensure the continuous capacity building of teachers, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and innovation in classrooms nationwide.

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted the importance of teachers as “real Karmayogis” who shape the future generation. He emphasized that enlightened teachers create enlightened students, and with India advancing into the knowledge-driven 21st century, teachers will play a key role in shaping the nation’s growth trajectory.
Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Vice Chairman of Bharti Enterprises, discussed the app’s role in transforming India’s educational system by fostering creativity and innovation among teachers. With over 6 million lives impacted by its educational initiatives, Bharti Airtel Foundation’s TeacherApp is a major step in improving the quality of education across India.
Since its inception in 2000, the Bharti Airtel Foundation has focused on providing quality education to underprivileged children, especially in rural India, with a special focus on the girl child. Through initiatives like the Satya Bharti School Program and Quality Support Program, the Foundation has impacted over 3 million children. The TeacherApp furthers this vision by equipping educators with the skills needed for a successful, future-ready education system.
