Mathura holds the first position in hosting fairs in Uttar Pradesh. A total of 86 fairs are organized in this district. Mathura is famous for its religious and cultural importance, as it closely linked to Lord Krishna’s life.

Kanpur ranks second in organizing fairs, with 79 fairs held annually. This district is an important industrial hub, but it also celebrates its cultural heritage through these fairs.
