Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, World’s Highest Bridge

The Huajiang Canyon Bridge in Guizhou, China, is set to become the world’s highest bridge. This suspension bridge stretches across the Beipan River in the deep Huajiang Canyon. With a deck height of 625 meters (2,051 feet), it will surpass the famous Duge Bridge. Scheduled to open on September 28, 2025, it will stand as a true marvel of modern engineering.

Duge Bridge

The Duge Bridge, also called the Beipanjiang Bridge, is a four-lane cable-stayed bridge between Guizhou and Yunnan in China. It rises 565 meters (1,854 feet) above the Nizhu River gorge, making it the second highest bridge in the world after 2025. Opened as part of the G56 Expressway, it was once the world’s highest bridge and remains a stunning engineering achievement.

Tianmen Bridge

The Tianmen Bridge in Guizhou, China, reaches about 560 meters (1,837 feet) above the gorge, making it the third highest bridge globally. It’s a suspension bridge with a main span of 820 meters and is part of the Anpan Expressway. Its design blends strength and beauty, soaring high above rugged terrain.
