University of Liverpool to Establish First Indian Campus in Bengaluru
The University of Liverpool which is one of the United Kingdom’s leading universities has received the Letter of Approval (LoA) from the Ministry of Education to establish the its campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This approval marks one another important step in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 which aims to internationalize higher education by encouraging globally reputed institutions to establish their campus in India.
The Ministry of Education has formally handed over the Letter of Approval (LoA) to the University of Liverpool and enabling it to establish the its branch campus in Bengaluru.
This approval was presented by the Dr. Vineet Joshi, Secretary, Department of Higher Education and Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), to Professor Richard Grose, Provost of the University of Liverpool Bengaluru.
