MS Dhoni has partnered with Viacom18 to help promote the company’s goal of making digital platforms the go-to destination for sports fans. As part of the collaboration, the Chennai Super Kings captain will participate in several Viacom18 initiatives, including those featured on JioCinema, Sports18, and his own social media accounts. Dhoni will also feature in JioCinema’s upcoming campaign for the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL).
The 2023 TATA Indian Premier League will begin on March 31 with defending champions Gujarat Titans facing Chennai Super Kings, led by Dhoni. All matches of the tournament will be available for free on JioCinema, which will offer 4K feed, multi-language and multi-cam presentation, stats pack, and Play Along feature to over 700 million internet users.
