WHO Foundation and Novo Nordisk Launch Initiative to Tackle Childhood Obesity in India
The WHO Foundation and Novo Nordisk have announced the collaboration and it is aimed at tackling childhood obesity in India. This will done through the various awareness programs and preventive health strategies. This initiative will support efforts to strengthen obesity prevention measures and health system readiness across the country. This partnership will focus on developing a scalable school based health program designed to address rising obesity levels among children.
