The Boarder Road Organization is cutting a new road through which the devotees will soon be able to visit Mount Kailash from Indian Territory.
The Border Road Organization stated that it has started work on cutting KMVN Hut from Nabhidhang in the Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand to Lipulekh pass on the India-China border, which is expected to complete by September.

The Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra through the Lipulekh Path has not resumed since covide-19, such a long stall has contributed to the efforts by the Indian Government in forming an alternate path for the devottees to access Mount Kailash.

It serves as a source of some of the longest rivers of Asia.
Mount Kailash is considered as one of the sacred mountains and has become an important pilgrim for four faiths: Buddhists, Jains, Hindus and the Tibetan religion of Bon. Every year thousands of people from all over the world make a pilgrimage to this place.
