Marketa Vondrousova becomes the Wimbledon championship 2023 by beating last year’s runner-up Ons Jabeur 6-4, 6-4 in the finals. Jabeur held the break of serve lead twice in the opening set of the women’s singles final or Centre Court before the unseeded Marketa Vondrousova bounced back to win 16 of the last 18 points, and four straight games, to grab the opening set 6-4. She set three times in the first set. In 2023, Wimbledon will award an all-time high of 44.7 million pounds.

Sports Career:

Marketa Vondrousova is a Czech Tennis player. She has a career-high world No. 14 ranking, as per the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). She created female tennis history in 2023 by becoming the first unseeded player to win the Wimbledon Singles Championship.

She became the first teen moajor finalist in nearly 10 years when she advanced to the 2019 French Open Final.

Marketa showed her talent at an early age, becoming the former junior world No. 1 and winning two major double championships. Her meteoric rise continued on the WTA tour when at the age of 17 she made an excellent debut by winning the 2017 Ladies Open Biel Bienne.
