World Cup Fastest Century (1975-2023)

Glenn Maxwell of Australia achieved a record-breaking feat by scoring the fastest century in World Cup history. Maxwell accomplished this remarkable milestone in only 40 deliveries while playing against the Netherlands in the 24th match of the tournament, held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Earlier, South Africa’s Aiden Markram held the record with a 49-ball century against Sri Lanka at the same venue.
