  • In addition to Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh, Haridwar in Uttarakhand, Dhar and Hosangabad in Madhya Pradesh, Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, Saraiekela in Jharkhand, Kapurthala in Punjab, Jalgaon in Maharashtra, Vijayawara in Andhra Pradesh, Karimnagar in Telangana, Palakhad in Kerala, and Cuddalore, all simultaneously hosted Yuva (Tamil Nadu).
  • To recognise the influence of youth, Yuva Utsava will be held in 150 Districts nationwide by March 31st, 2023.
  • Apart from the Youth Volunteers and Members of Youth Club linked with NYKS, the Yuva Utsav events in the first phase are held by schools and colleges in the districts, with a large number of participants/footfall from adjacent educational institutions.
  • Via its leading youth organisation Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports is putting on the “YUVA UTSAV- India @2047” programme in every district of the nation.
  • A one-day District Level Yuva Utsav will be celebrated between March and June 2023 as the first stage of this three-tiered Yuva Shakti celebration taking place across all of India.
  • The program’s first phase is slated to take place in 150 districts between March 4 and March 31, 2023, during the current fiscal year.

Yuva Utsava-India@2047: About Panch Pran

The District Level Yuva Utsav champions will compete in the State Level Yuva Utsav, a 2-day event planned for August to September 2023 at State Capitals. The champions of all State-level competitions must take part in the National Level Yuva Utsav, which will take place in Delhi around the third or fourth week of October 2023.

Youth artists, writers, photographers, and orators will compete across the three levels, and traditional artists will highlight the rich cultural legacy of the nation. Panch Pran will be the Yuva Utsav’s theme.

2. To eradicate all traces of slavery and the colonial mentality,

3. Be proud of our history and legacy.

4. Solidarity and cooperation, and

5. Citizens’ sense of responsibility.

The 5 resolutions would serve as the foundation for the youth participants’ vision for Amrit Kaal, which they would present at the forefront of public conversation (Panch Pran). The 75th anniversary of India’s independence will be celebrated in a big way leading up to India@2047, with the theme “Yuva Shakti se Jan Bhagidari” serving as the inspiration.

Youth between the ages of 15 and 29 are eligible to engage in programmes and contests at the district, state, and national levels, with winners moving on to the following stage.
