This award celebrates the brightest creative talents in the Middle East and North Africa.”

Journey from Newcomer to Superstar

Alia’s journey from a newcomer to one of India’s top actresses was featured in a special festival tribute. The showcase included clips from her famous films like:

  • Highway
  • Dear Zindagi
  • Gangubai Kathiawadi
  • Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani
  • Brahmastra

The tribute showed her emotional range, versatility, and ability to perform in different film genres, including romance, drama, biographical stories, and large-scale commercial films.

Exclusive Look at Upcoming Film: Alpha

At the festival, Alia also talked about her upcoming movie, Alpha. She shared exclusive visuals giving fans a glimpse of the film’s action-packed style.

Alia explained, “Alpha is the first female-led action film from the YRF universe. It’s a risk because female-led action films haven’t historically performed the same as male-led films.”

The movie will also star Sharvari in a lead role, with a special cameo by Hrithik Roshan. Alpha is part of the YRF Spy Universe, which includes films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3, and the upcoming War 2.

New Release Date for Alpha

Originally planned for Christmas 2025, Yash Raj Films confirmed that Alpha will now release on April 17, 2026. The delay is to allow more time for VFX work, ensuring the film delivers the best visual experience to audiences.
