In a groundbreaking move, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced the launch of ‘Creator Land’, India’s first transmedia entertainment city. Signed through an MoU at the WAVES Summit in Mumbai, the ₹10,000 crore initiative is projected to generate 25,000 jobs and transform Amaravati into a global hub for creative industries and digital innovation.
The initiative grabbed national attention on May 4, 2025, when CM Naidu unveiled the plan during the WAVES Summit. It marks a strategic push to position Andhra Pradesh as the leader in the rapidly expanding sectors of digital media, virtual production, gaming, and AI-driven content creation.
